CONTINUOUS COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION :
Education is a unique investment and accountability is
possible only through a well planed mechanism of assessment
with reference to its objectives. The National
Policy of Education 1986, conceived the idea of introducing
evaluation as an integral part of the teaching - learning process
and suggested that the process of continuous and effective testing
be evolved by taking care of all three domains viz. COGNITIVE,
AFFECTIVE and PSYCHOMOTOR, for the integral development of
personality of the learner. The scheme has been effectively
introduced in our Vidyalaya with the following objectives
:

To use evaluation for improvement of
student's achievement and teaching learning strategies on the
basis of regular diagnosis followed by remedial
instructions.

To make a sound judgment and to plan timely

Administrative
Block : The Administrative
Block plays an important role to carry out all the administrative
activities and smooth functioning of the Vidyalaya. We provide
well furnished and ventilated establishment section to look day to
day administrative work, Staff room, Class rooms to accommodate 40
children in one section, well equipped Practical laboratories, Music
room to learn music and other performing arts, Art room to learn
visual art and to develop aesthetic sense among the children and
dispensary to get emergency medical
help.

Class Rooms : We have provided 20 well furnished and
ventilated Class room facilities to our children. Each class room is
of 20 X 20 feet in measurement which can accommodate 40 children in
each section. Each class room is provided with dual desk, lights,
fans etc. We also maintain proper hygienic condition by keeping our
class rooms clean to boost an environment for children and
teachers in the teaching learning process.

Computer Lab: Keeping in view about changing
teaching methodology and implementation of media and
audio-visual aids as part of teaching-learning process, Vidyalaya
administration has provided facilities to children and teachers to
keep themselves updated according to their need, with most
sophisticated computer lab with latest software. To stay connected
with all parts of the globe, we have provided broad band and dial-up
internet facilities under one mouse click away. We have 40 computer
systems with fully equipped operating system p-IV, windows etc. We
provide technology aided learning (TAL) class room at an average of
1:1 (Computer : Student) ratio. We are proud to mention here that we
have 100% computer literate teaching staff who are capable of
conducting seminars and symposium etc. We also have arrangement of
class a room with multimedia facilities (TV-Computer-multimedia
projector) for presentation of lessons by our brilliant teachers.
SELECTION OF STUDENTS IN COMPUTER SCIENCE : Any
students of class 11th can opt for computer science as optional
subject, if he/she fulfills the following qualifications : MUST HAVE
MINIMUM OF 50% OF MARKS IN AGGREGATE AND 60% MARKS IN SCIENCE AND
MATHEMATICS TOGETHER.

Science Laboratory :
We have provisions for science practical which include well
equipped practical laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
These laboratories are designed to take care of the needs of the
senior children to do practical experiments as per the requirement
of the respective subject teachers. Apart from these laboratories we
have established a separate Science Laboratory for junior children
also so that their tender mind could grow to full potential with
practical knowledge.

Library :Library plays the most important role for
the development of mental ability and to fulfill the quest of
knowledge for everyone. Even though the teaching methodology is
changing with the time, still there is need of books, and one will
come in search of what is new. Keeping this in mind we have
established our library that is well furnished and equipped with
books, journals, magazines, reference books etc. for teachers
as well as children of all sections. At present we have more than
3000 books which include reference books for all the subjects,
literature, general knowledge, career guidance, fictions, novels,
travel, animals, birds, astrology, children's story books and lot
more ... We also provide journals, news papers like India Today,
Sports Today, Science Today, Times of India, Employment News, Dainik
Bhaskar, Chronicle etc. Children are allowed to get books or
journals issued as per their choice so as to utilize their own time
for a good cause.

Vidyalaya Museum :Museum is a
place where one can find rich cultural heritage at one place. For
the purpose, we have established a Museum corner to preserve the
existing heritage of Raisen District. We also have reasonable
collection of artifacts (replicas) from most parts of the country,
which would give children to know about the time line of cultural
history.

Games and Sports :
Physical Education Training, implemented in the syllabus, to
learn the importance of physical fitness in a scientific manner and
to grow our children normally, we provide out door and indoor games
for both boys and girls, apart from track and field events. We have
developed various grounds for various sporting events. We also
provide outdoor Jim for children where they undertake required
warm-up exercises to keep themselves fit. our children enjoy playing
Cricket, Badminton, Volley ball, hockey, table tennis, handball
carom, chess etc.

Co-curricular
activities :To keep our children fit in a residential
environment, we put emphasis on the importance of Co-curricular
activities among children. Apart from daily schedule, children take
part in different activities like NCC, Scout, NSS, cultural
programs, pace-setting activities organized on different calendar
dates as mentioned in the schedule. These activities give them
platform to expose themselves and grow as a healthy and
responsible citizen.
